Give thanks tutorial

Give thanks, that's what Fall is all about! So I decided to make something fun for my front porch.

Start with a blank slab of wood, mine is 12inches x 4 feet
Pick a paint color and paint your whole board. I did mine a dark brown.

Once your paint has dried, sand all the edges with a small sander or a piece of sandpaper.
I used my Cricut machine to cut out the letters I wanted out of scrapbook paper. If you do not have a cricut machine, you can also out line and paint your own letters by hand or use a stencil.

Once you have all your letters cut out, Line them up where you want them, and it's time to break out the Modge Podge
You can carefully coat the back of your letters with a layer of Modge Podge and put them on one at a time. Make sure as you put them down, you keep rubbing the letters in a circular motion until they are firmly dried down. This is so your letters do not bubble. As soon as they are all dry, you can brush a light coat of Modge Podge over your whole board to help seal it.
This is your finished product! I also added a cup hook to the top and hung a small grapevine wreath, I love the way it turned out.. Let me know what you think???
